One year ago, on my birthday, believe it or not, I cried right in front of the computer screen staring at what I thought was a very bleak future. It took sometime for it to sink it in but the anchor of my heart just got stuck in mid-air/water. However, I quickly regain my composure and hoped to blow everyone away with this
post.
As you have read, I decided to motivate myself and I got even more lucky with
this.It wasn't a bad feeling and to know that I wasn't going far was even better. It got even more exciting when I received
this.In other words, I just can't wait to start and get over it.
I thought I would never tear up when I stepped into the bus. Tears start flowing when we hit the highway. It was meant to happen anyway.
Rewards awaited me in these 3 trying months but the load was eased when I met these people.

Tong Shu Qin and me. She's my best bud in camp. We almost always talk each other to sleep.

Thenmoli, me and Shella. They're the cutest in dorm 1.

Me and Chu. Love her to bits and it was very interesting to speak a different language with her: mandarin.

Me and Shella. We also call her our teddy bear! ^^

Group pic. Aeon company warriors. Hahax...

Me, Suejeetha, Sarah, Keng and Shu Qin. Friends forever!

Me and Liew. He prefers to be called L. I have no idea why.

Me and Joanne Ng Zu Wern. Nice to know another person from hometown; she's from Convent.

Wanir, Chu (also), me and Siti Puan.

Siti Khadijah, Suria(my company's wirawati leader, a great leader), Alin, Usmawatun, Me, Shella and Nisa

Me, Gee, Sue and Linda

Me and Eqa. Another great chinese speaking friend. It was cool.
Apart from these people, close friends and family were still around to help me keep up with the NS spirit.

My family: sis, Dad, me and Mum

Me and Iona. Thanks for visiting me!

Me, Yin Xian and Kar Yee. Yin Xian was at my camp to claim her prize money.

Me and Kar Yee again. Both of us are wearing my clothes

Kar Yee and Me. We looks so 'yao ying'. Teeheehee....XD

Me and Prema. She's my form 5 classmate. What a coincidence. ^^

Kar Yee and me again. XDXDXD We're such good NS companions.

Front: Vui Li, Shu qin, Me and Peggy.
Back: Sharon Wong and Sharon Ho.

Cikgu Linda and Me. She's one of the camp trainers that I liked and admired.

Me and Joanne Wee. We're such great friends on Korean Drama mania.
These people really colour my world and it was nice to know them too! With these people, I will also never forget the places that made it even more meaningful.

What you're looking at is the back of Batu Caves and a golf course.

The tapak berkawad and the area for kembara halangan.

The long journey to the canteen.

The canteen.

Looking down from the dorm gate.

Looking down from the office. Always gathered there early in the morning for the physical exercise.

The kiosk. The place where we spent money on food that we missed.

My dorm. It is much neater in the morning. All the girl's dorm in my camp fits about 25 beds. My dorm has only 22 people in the beginning.

Outside my dorm.

Night scene outside my dorm

My bed and locker.

Moreover, I will also not forget these small things:

I was dorm leader before I left camp early.

I'll never forget the monkeys(beruk) overturning the rubbish bin.
From the bottom of my heart, I congratulate Aisha, Brendan and Lay Kuan for being selected. I know some of you don't even like to be congratulated for this but this is based from my experience. It is up to you in the end to escape law the hard way or the easy way. There's no need to feel anger either.
I wish others good luck too. It's an experience that you don't get everyday. Hearing that you might make the best it will be good news.

This an extra for those who are selected for NS and going for it:-
- M-16. Although it is a tool of destruction, it is still good to know how a gun/rifle functions. Note that military officers are present during the M-16 training and they're actually quite friendly. You gain extra knowledge about these weapons too when they explain to you parts of the weapon. My experience in handling the M-16 was superb. I had a temporary souvenir from the M-16 via slightly bruised shoulder. Anyway, it's exciting!!! (It's up to you and your parents
- Kembara halangan aka obstacles course. It was pretty challenging for me but what the heck! It was fun fun fun and for the first time in my life, you can say I was 'un-neat' physically.
- Getting to know people from other states is an extra star for you. You get to know their different accents when they speak BM. Terengganu BM is especially interesting; lapan(number eight) is pronounced as lapang which could also mean field/space in proper(?) BM. Listening to stories from them was another past time.
- Working as a team at all times. It was very challenging for me but I soon learn that it is a must when you strive to be the best of the best.
- Eating 6 meals a day:breakfast, brunch, lunch, evening tea, dinner and supper. Seems like a lot of food? However, it is a must to get back your energy. It's up to you whether you want to eat your teas.
- Waking up at 5am and sleeping at 11pm. This daily routine is suppose to help us in having a more healthy and productive lifestyle.
- Modules: Physical training, character building classes, cultural classes and community service.
- Free clothes for all types of activities. 2 sets of celoreng, 2 sets of baju sukan, 2 sets baju kelas, marching cap, sports cap, socks of white, black, grey, belts, sport shoes, boots, class shoes(high heel for girls)
- Family visits once in every two weeks, the camp trainers will inform you anyway.
- Other fun activites besides the ones stated in the module: sukaneka, water games competition(camps against other camps), M-16, dinner parties(surprised to hear this? but there are such majlis), cultural performances etc.
- Monthly allowance of RM150. This means you get RM450 at the end of your training.
That's all that I can think for now.
